    I just downloaded the steam version of this: there is no trainer or editor of any kind in the zip folder, just the readme.

    Is your anti-virus blocking it, just got it and it is in there.

    It shouldn't, since I don't have any messages about my av blocking anything, but I'll fiddle with it and check.

    EDIT: Yeah, I just completely disabled every piece of my AV and got nothing. Still only the readme.

    then it has to be a SMART SCREEN filter on your browser blocking it, trust me it is in there, checked twice.

    @Haarlock

    What security software do you use? Does it come with some kind of special browser add-on? Have you created a web exclusion for our website -> *.cheathappens.com ?

    The problem has been resolved, but it's really weird.

    I have no idea what happened, but let me lay out all the results from my experimentation with this for future reference. I'm going to start by listing my specs, then detailing the process.

    Here's my setup:
    Windows 10 Home, with the integrated Windows Defender completely disabled

    Malwarebytes Anti-Virus

    Pale Moon Browser, with NoScript and uBlock Origin.

    PROCESS:
    I've never had any issues in the past with downloading trainers from here, even with Malwarebytes completely active with no exclusions. The only issue I had is I needed to make an exception for the folder where I stored my trainers, since it deletes them without it. As I said, this all worked perfectly.

    At the time of my initial post in this thread, the problem was as I described it. Per your response, I attempted disabling Malwarebytes and the problem persisted. I proceeded to attempt downloading other trainers, and got the same problem; only readmes in the zip folder.

    I tried a bunch of other things, but nothing worked.

    The really weird part is that I attempted to download this trainer again this morning at 0209 GMT-6, and the download for this trainer and several others went perfectly; trainer was present in the zip folders and worked as advertised.

    I attempted to download the Darksiders 3 trainer just now, and that also worked fine.

    So all the data I have on hand says that there was a short period during the day where, for no reason I can see, my computer just straight up did not receive the trainer .exe; since you all can get it just fine and I'm not seeing any other clients reporting a similar issue I must conclude my computer is haunted or something.

    @Haarlock

    My bet is on MalwareBytes' greatest software product ever built. And likely, after it sent the files or their signatures to their server and were verified that they don't pose a thread for your OS, they were cleared.
