Right click on the trainer and select 'Run as admin'.

Not working for me either, windows 8 64-bit. Ran it as admin, middle of game, nothing. Whenever I press F1 I don't hear 'trainer activated'

Any plans to update the trainer to work with the steam release that just came out recently?, if not it does have built in cheats.

Did everything suggested here to no avail..trainer will not work.
Win 7 64 bit,steam.Even tried placing the trainer in the Steam folder.

Also notice there was a patch 0.0.1 on may 7.
Also a Day 1 patch on May 5th.

The black mesa trainer was for the FREE mod. Now there is a paid mod on Steam called the same. However this trainer will mostly likely not work for it.

I guess a trainer could be made via the requests page for the new Early access version, but the name would have to be different from the mod version, somehow... 🤔

New trainer for the paid steam version will be posted soon.
