XCOM: Enemy Unknown Message Board  

Hi all,

Just saw some of you were sad about having to wait a few days for the game to unlock in your country.

If it's not against the rules here happy to share how to unlock it globally at the same time (requires full game purchase and no steam bans or anything like that).

Use a VPN yeah.

think i'll wait, theres usualy the odd patch, and time before trainer coems out, so i'll have 3 days for it to settle before i can play.

not that I want to use one for a game but is talking about a VPN a bannable offence?

if youre referring to steam, no it isn't.

If however you try to use a vpn to buy games cheaper in another country, that is...

Err i wouldn't be to sure that it is allowed.
