I would like to see this. I guarantee there will be more than a few moments where you swear because you couldn't place what you wanted where you wanted, particularly as adjacency gives you extra bonuses. Being able to place all your generators at the bottom where they're out of the way, or the labs clumped together to gain an extra bonus, but you've already places something there, would be golden!

XCOM were among the first i played, back in 90's, and DOS editors were common for editing the savegame files, carefully with HEX, and allowed basic changes to stats and money.

Chris & his team i'm sure will do what they can.....can't wait, its been nearly 20 years since i had my 486DX and 4MB RAM system with 8bit Soundblaster card, and making the special boot disk for DOS to get the game loaded to play!!!

Lucky bloody you! My first was a 286 with a 45Mb hard drive and DOS 3.30...
And, that's actually where I got the idea for the base editor. I hated the layout for your first base, and always re-arranged it so it had a better one, thus avoiding lost space.

Scientist Count
Engineer Count
Power Count

I am using a CoSMOS and I am changing my resources easily. So far I got 50k of every resource

Tried using 4 bytes, didn't find squat. What are you using to find them?

Use the all(byte to Double) You will have to sell some of the items to see the change it takes like 3 to 5 max to find the right one.

Resource are 4 Bytes

You can see how many you have via "Situation Room" -> "Gray Market"

You can change the values by selling 1 or 2, then confirm the sale.
