Regarding the Mega Trainer (STEAM/D2D), Unlimited Health, Mana, Party Healt....

I got a really good deal on Dragon Age:Origins Ultimate Edition on the Gamestop App. If I'm not mistaken, it uses Steam. So I figured the trainer would work on the game. But since there are two variables, I figured I would get right to the point of the question.

Does the trainer work for the Ultimate Edition? I haven't found any difference other than they grouped all of the DLC's together. Like a Game of the Year Edition.

Would the Steam/D2D trainer work on the game because I got it from the Gamestop App? I'm not quiet sure if it's considered a retail version of the game since I'm not using Steam to play it on. It's installed onto my hard drive like any other game. I just don't have the physical disk.
War: "You have taught me something, Abaddon. Sometimes duty must be cast aside to do what must be done. It is not for duty that I kill you now..."

    Hi,
I bought the ultimate edition from steam and yes, the trainer works great for me. I have had no crashes and the options I've tried work great, including party health, money and skill points.

I don't know what version you would need, but I'd give both of them a try. I can truly only vouch for the steam edition.

    Hope this helps.

Actually I have the exact same problem, and I can actually make none of the trainers work.

I bought mine straight from Origin.

    EDIT: my bad:

    This seems to work:

"2. DRAGON AGE: ORIGINS MEGA TRAINER (PATCH #5 STEAM/D2D)
Works with DA: O UE" (except that its trainer #3.)

It's a patch that came out awhile ago for "witch hunt" DLC to "fix" a few things. Perhaps thats why it isnt working for you either?

Solved this. There is a article under the "Trainer Troubleshooting Guide" If you have IE10 they do not work, unless they have been updated since July 2012. Since these are mostly older than that, they do not work. I uninstalled IE 10 and they work fine now. Hope that helps others.
