Sorry, forgot to mention that, its the steam version with the most current steam trainer.

Try a clean new trainer see if it still does it.

Delete trainer and all files in

C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\Temp
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\Cheathappens\Work
C:\Users\USERNAMEHERE\AppData\Roaming\Cheat Happens\0x90
C:\ProgramData\CheatHappens

Reboot PC to clear excess memory, get a fresh copy of latest trainer and extract it. Run trainer as admin, read the instructions and try again. At times, a new game may be needed to resolve failed options if the data in your save file was altered. Use on a new game and test the option. If it now works, quit to main menu and load your save and try it again. May also need to run the game without the trainer first and play a bit so the save file gets updated to use possible new values.

So, I went thru and did these things. Ran ccleaner as well to try and clean up any other temp files hanging around. After going thru the normal process of starting the trainer, then the game, activating at the menu, and continuing in to play. Infinite shields worked at first in the instance I was in, I reset the instance by going to the menu and then back into the zone I was in and the infinite shields no longer worked. I also noticed at this time that amp shields in game were not working while infinite shields was on in the first instance, I don't know if this is a known bug as well?

I'll have to download it and play around a bit, see if I can duplicate it. may not get to it till tomorrow.

Any particular character you using or is it all of them.

The amp shield bug I've only noticed on axton so far (have not tried on the others yet). The shields/health only working for a single instance then bugging out I've noticed on every character. Switching characters on the character select screen does not fix the issue, it required restarting the game between starting an instance on each character.

So far shields are holding and still work from area to area, only have a siren toon made will try a new game.

I tried creating a new mechromancer right now and am still having the issue. I understand this isn't an end of the world issue, am just frustrated trying to troubleshoot it.

The only way I could duplicate this issue was to quit to main menu and go back in game. Most people do this as a fast travel if your not near a teleport station to reload beside one or to reset the enemies in an area, which will bug the trainer so it should not be done or you will have to fully exit and reload both game and trainer. Playing normally I was able to use teleports and area to area doors to change maps areas and still had full function of unlim. shields. I used Axton and Maya both were the same result.
