    Hey guys,

I've got an ASUS Laptop (The worst brand ever) that has power problems. When I connect the charger, The charger gets off immediately and doesn't charge, On the other hand, The lap top doesn't turn on.

So what should I do ?

It seems very obvious, but the first thing to do is contact Asus tech support.

ASUS is NOT the worst brand ever. I would purchase ASUS before considering purchasing Acer, Gateway, HP, or Toshiba. (Personal opinion)

As for your problem, definitely contact ASUS tech support, but if you have warranty still, take it back to wherever you bought it, and have it fixed for free. I slipped in a repair right before my first year ended from Lenovo and had my entire Motherboard replaced, along with my battery.

I agree with Asus NOT being the worst brand. I've got an Asus laptop and I'm very satisfied.

You have a damaged PSU, battery, and/or charging plug. You will have to RMA your machine.

I said the "worst" because of two reasons, first of all I've had many laptops but this ASUS one is really terrible. my laptop is only some months old but has so many problems. The second reason is, all of my friends who have worked with ASUS had specific problems as well.

Anyway, I'm sure Neo is right. I've used the warranty once, had the same issue already, but they said we "fixed" it.

Surely if your have that many problems under warranty then you can ask for your money back

In the US, you don't get to request a refund like that but getting a replacement or repaired unit is free. ASUS in general usually produces quality units but their customer service is usually incompetent on anything that isn't issuing RMAs.

Where ASUS really shines isn't their prebuilt computers but rather the PC components they produce to build your own PC.
