So lately my browsing of the internet via my beautiful Chrome browser has been rudely interrupted by something called "Text Enhance". Random bits of text get underlined and turned into advertisements. Any idea what this thing is and how I can get rid of it?

Nasty little piece of work this is, it has many names

    Pando Media Enhancer
    I Want This! (or IWT)
    Yontoo Layers
    Premiumplay Codec-C
    Rewards Gaming
    TheBFlix

You can get these uninstalled via the Settings menu and extensions side menu

i.e. The spanner icon > settings > Extensions

    From there uninstall

You can also check out the Uninstall Programs feature under control panel.
Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

    Clicky Here for them

There isn't an actual extension for it in Chrome, but there is something else called "wxDFast" that I have no clue as to how it got there. If I uninstall it, the Text Enhance goes away. But, every time I restart Chrome, it's back.

Alright. I'll let you know if it works. This problem is becoming really annoying and I'm wondering if it is having other negative effects on my system aside from just the stupid advertisements.

So far, the problem has not reoccurred since taking Neo's advice. I hope it stays this way though, cause in the past it has just come right back.
