XCOM: Enemy Unknown Message Board  

I would like a trainer that changes the amount of Turn Units a character has, plus either extended or complete sight of the map. If you have just those two features, you can completely obliterate your enemies. Craft Flight Speed and Defense won't hurt either.

However, I'm going to try and learn to play without a trainer first so that when I play Multiplayer I won't look like an idiot because I wasn't prepared for the limited TUs.

So far demo is 'hush hush', they might not release it but 2 or 3 weeks before release date, to avoid people using the demos engine for trainers. I've already pre-ordered it but I don't even get to try a demo for it.

How much dos a demo help in developing a trainer?

A great deal, if past experience here has shown anything. We have seen trainers for demos that rolled right over in to full fledged trainers once the game is complete.

I am hoping Caliber and PWizard will do a trainer for the demo.

unfortunetly, the demo is incredibly short, which is odd since the download is 5.5GB. You only get to try 2-3 missions, and dont get to try out the base building at all. You might beable to get health/items for troops, and maybe the cash resouce at base though.
