I just love this month, although it's going to be a bit harder this year, since it's in the middle of summer.

What does Ramadan Kareem mean? I understand that Ramadan is a Muslim holiday, but I am uncertain what the particular phrase means. Please help out an ignorant brother.

That is the smartest thing I have ever heard anyone say about anything.

Well My friend the Admiral,from what i can make out,i do not think you can eat (or maybe drink not sure) from Sun-up to Sun-down and thats a long time to do without food,its all to do with the Muslim society.

If i am wrong i will guarantee someone from the Middle East will correct my thinking.lolol.

Well Mirraluka described how it goes in Ramadan, and what you said is correct, but it's not as hard as you think.

And what Neo said is right, it's like saying Happy Ramadan, but "Kareem" literally means "Generous".

Five people in my training group at work are fasting, so our trainer ended up banning food in the training room for their sakes. Respect, and all that.

Actually, I have been wondering: How come it changes dates? Isn't it usually around September?
