I'm hoping there's another, though not as Shepard this time. I think his/her story is done, and he/she has earned a nice retirement from saving the Universe
I'd quite like to have the option to play different races, similar to how DAO has the six different origins. Not to mention they've still not shown us a female Turian, despite actually showing female Salarians and a female Krogan in ME3. I mean, surely their species' would die out if they ONLY mated with Asari? I don't get the weird secrecy with females of the races.
And it isn't like they've never mentioned female Turians.. Garrus mentions his sister in ME3.
I don't know if I feel like Shep's story is over.. The war? Definitely. But I think that we need to know if Shepard is reunited with his/her crew.
I think if the next game was a reunion game, than that would be great.

I think we could easily see the story from another point of view and still see Shepard reunited with his/her crew. For example the player could be involved with a search mission for Shepard, along with the Normandy crew.
It could seriously work if it was DAO style, too. eg Drell Assassin, Asari Commando, Krogan Warlord, Salarian Special Task Force, Turian Soldier and Quarian Engineer. Plus maybe a Spectre background thrown in.
You know, we still haven't seen a female Drell, now that I think about it.
Or Turian or Salarian, etc. (Not in the games, at least)
Personally, if they're going to milk the franchise (who am I kidding, they will), I'd rather they did it with some taste. You know, something worthy of the name.
Like a new trilogy. Maybe...

We have seen Salarian females. The Dalatrass is a woman, as is the Salarian councillor if you didn't save the council in the first game. You can also see random female Salarians on the Citadel. The hoods give them away.
I WOULD PLAY THAT SERIES BECAUSE GARRUS. Also because I miss Thane, he was my romance option.
