Well I basically got the PS2 at my friend's place, and tried some cds in it. But when i start it first shows me the ps 2 Bios screen (basically the lights flashing for a sec) and then it basically goes to the game save screen (of the ps2, showing all the game saves in the memory card). Can't seem to get the game started. So what exactly am i doing wrong???
    With issues. =(

Sounds like the games your trying to play are too damaged for the PS2 to recognise but if your saying you have tried a few and none have worked, the PS2's reader is probably screwed.

Maybe its time for a PS3?

Oh my goodness I can help!!!

I am going to assume that you have one of the small PS2s.

Put a heavy book on top of it. Maybe two heavy books. You might need to move it around a bit until it's just so but it should work.

Assuming that you're having the same problem that I have >.>

    Good luck!

Haha thats heaps funny, i just remembered that my girlfriends sisters had that problem with their ps2 slim but they had a buddha statue sitting on it to make it work.

That's actually quite a good idea! It would be a lot more attractive decor-wise, rather than having a pile of books, or a 2L bottle of softdrink >.>

Yep. Looked like decor to hide the fact that it was actually a dodgy make-shift solution.
