Dragon Age: Origins Message Board  

I'm playing the Leliana's Song DLC and I keep running into a glitch. When I start the side-quest Raiding The Mage's Collective none of the "clues" are selectable. Thus making the quest impossible to complete and preventing me from destroying the career of Guard Captain Eams.

I'm not running a trainer, and it happened before I installed any mods and after. (The only mod I have that even affects the DLC is a face/hair morph for Leliana)

Anyone know how I can fix this?

IIRC you have to plant the items on the body, so right click his body?

But that's no good if I can't even get the items to plant in the first place

Everything else seems to work fine, with the exception of the Mage Collective part. I know I could carry on otherwise, but it'll bother me if I leave something undone.

Lets see if I can remember stuff.

Loot the chests in the market place and swap the contents with other merchants loot.

Kill Bann Perrin near the Arl's estate, goto captain on the ground and dress him in the Bann's underwear.

Kill the spy near the captain in the alleyway behind the inn. Dump his body into the well at the Chantry.

There is also a mage collective bag behind Wades shop (the armor guy who loves to work with dragonscales :P), it has gold and hints on other locations

And the Chantry's poor box can be stolen from :P


So no idea why you can't do any of those things.

I'm pretty certain I can do everything else, but without the Mage Collective stuff it's a bit pointless =/ I don't care much about the Battledress of the Provocateur(sp?) so if I can't even complete achievements the whole thing is a bit pointless.

(And FYI, you're actually supposed to leave the body, the stolen goods AND the Mage signet ring with the guard to truly ruin his career and please Marjolaine)

I approach the markers, but I can't interact with them. My mouse pointer (for some reason not showing in the screenshot) just stays grey instead of altering to the interaction symbol.

Hard to see where you are on the map, its been a long time since I last played it.

But I don't recognise those places as something you get from for the DLC.

I actually managed the achievement without the ring.

Should I take some screenshots of the map itself?
