It all started for me way back in 1982 when i saw this beauty.

In the same year i went to this 1.

    In 1985 i bought this 1:

In 1986 the firm where i worked at that time was using a total new office computer, a IBM compatible PC, which i was not yet familiar with, but soon the next year, almost all in that firm had one at home.

But for gaming that time i still used the commodore.

In 1987 i bought this one also.
    Link

In the years coming after that i went mainly in using intel
    DX 80486 based pc's

In 1993 i bought my first pentium based PC
After that mainly following the intel line
    pentium 2 3 4

    In 1995 the pentium pro:

But intel processors were not that cheap that time
so i went to AMD processor based computers

    1996 AMD K5
    Link

    1997 AMD K6
    Link

1999 AMD K7 the famous "athlon":

1999-2003 all sorts of AMD based computer builds

2003 Saw the light of the AMD K8
    I used the opteron processor
    Link

In the years 2003-2008 i mainly used AMD

Till in 2008 i stepped back to intel and used the
    Core 2 Duo E8400 up to 2011

In 2011 i bought intel sandybridge based motherboard
    And the intel I5-2500K
    Which i upgraded in 2012 to I7-2600K

Well thats all about my computer history.

g7000 man was the business, none of that Atari rubbish.

Quest for the rings was a great game, takes a bit to set up, but wow it was amazing.

Also had the programming Pak, that was painful >.<

    EDIT:

    Real Question would be

Would you buy a AmigaOne 500 or x1000 (when released)?

lol ,I played dungeon master on the amiga 1000 ,loved that game till its successor chaos strikes back came out, and that one didnt came out for the amiga but it did for the atari 1000 so i even bought a atari 1000 to be able to play chaos strikes back.

i also remember about the g7000 and its assembler tried to get the grips with that , but never succeeded ^^
