I beat the game on normal and nightmare mode and now I'm bored. I agree the log in option sucks for a single player game. It's kinda dumb to have the server gone under maintenance every tuesday night. I feel like they are sharing D3 server with Wow server so they had to take D3 offline when they clean up WOw servers.

Now that I beat the game and very bored of it after 2 weeks, I'm glad I won't have to deal with it again. NOw I'm off to go play with my console games instead...

Server issues are a serious problem was speaking with a Blizzard admin earlier on tonight and by the sounds of things The issues don't look like there is a fix to the solutions real quick.
on ActIV Inferno mode myself and 2 other WoW friends.
Just the issues with Blizz atm are making everything so Laggy that a simpler fight is just too much. So hope they really can fix this asap.We want to complete what we started. Superb game. But Blizzard? not looking good for their Reputation atm. Battlenet Forums says it all.

you would think that a company maintaining one of the most played MMORPG would have a bit more experience/knowledge of how logins and server load affects pretty much every aspect of the product..

I have ran into no errors, no issues. No lag, currently starting inferno and almost on hell with 2 others. Maybe its peoples antivirus, firewall... but the game's amazing regardless. ALSO everyone knew it would be 100% online, blizzard comfirmed this like 2 years ago.

I have not had the chance to play the game much so I have not noticed. I do know i was ****ed that the game was broken on the very first day.

Tried the game as well. Never could get past nightmare. Some of the maps was hard to see and CSR was not helping when told them my vision impairment prevented me from seeing in the dark on lot of the maps even when had gamma set to max ingame. Nightmare mode was too hard, plus using the same questline made the game quite boring and with no autoattack feature, clicking the mouse all the time made it difficult.

From the reading the forums, I gotten the impression that vision impaired gamers should not play the game.

The gold spamming that went on was just plain aweful (if you try to leave general chat, 9 times out 10 the game will disconnect you) the report feature usually did not work since spammers would be back few minutes to a hour later. Plus spamming for cheats and few times noticed cheathappen trainers being spammed in the chat channel was getting annoying.

Going back to WOW, shame though that they pushed back Secret World MMO to July 3rd, 2012.

Yeah, needless to say that I'm pretty disappointed... server-side lag while playing alone, frequent disconnects, login issues, copious maintenance, inability to skirt around online features (e.g. being "invisible" to friends), and a nightmare mode that simply recycles the same loot acquired the first time round, to name a few.

I've even changed some of the numbers in-game -- risking a ban -- to no avail. They seem to be synced server-side, even though I'm able to modify them.

I enjoy the game, I just want to play it on my own terms, like the previous installments. I don't want to use the AH, I don't want to chat with buds while playing, etc. Call me a xenophobe, but some of us actually like to play games to escape all that "outside world" crud.

All they need to do now is charge a monthly subscription fee. That'd be the cherry.

the lag is terrible you americans whing when its up to 200ms well on the other side of the world i can not get below 400ms and running around 1000ms is the norm so boohoo to you
