Risen 2: Dark Waters Message Board  

so i've been looking for a game to write my next faq/walkthru on
and i started a little with risen 2
but i realised that its kinda pointless since most of the quests are "walk here, kill this, come back"

I wouldn't mind a faq on the secret areas, locations to use the monkey, where and how to find the legendary items, and where to find the parts for the unique weapons. Those would be best.

well i wud like to know how to open the ruin that is far to the south on the island were you join steelbeard, and ther is a hat i found on a previus game(were i dint have the lockpick), but i cant find the pase were i found it, i am gonna play more soon, and look for it more

The legendary items could use a walkthrough at the very least. I have found my way through just about everything else, but those items are beyond tedious. I had to get lucky and accidentally find a few of them.

i still cant find that damn hat, i am soon giving up on it and move to next island

When looking at your quest log click on the Legendary item to find it will tell you on the right the approximate location.

You can also press R to see the script/speech involved around the item, to give more clues.

I couldn't find the Trinket, the rest of the legendaries I did find.

the hat isnt a legenday item, it is that lucky hat morris lost, or whatever hes name was, and it is no quest
