I'm also having the same issues with the trainer not detecting values on the Steam version despite trying everything in the forums & troubleshooting guide, however given that it is working for a lot of people the chances are there's something I'm doing/not doing that causing it to not work. Luckily the console cheat works fine so no biggie, I'll keep trying to see how it goes & if I can figure it out.

On a related note my Steam version number on the main screen is 1.3.6. So I may be "repeatedly pressing the forward key while facing a wall" as it were.

I was curious if an option could be possible to edit the food meter, or possibly give infinite food on the meter? It's an irritating mechanic, and I would love to be able to play without it constantly hampering my play and exploration.
