Empire: Total War Message Board  

Well, I've been using PFM 2.0.5 to try to edit my patch.pack file (I made a back-up, no worries) to remove the unit cap on Republican Guards as well as to edit a lot of their stats such as their weapon/morale/reloading skill/etc. and basically nothing changes when I load up the game + the unit cap goes back to 6 after I save it. I have the game on Steam, if that matters.

Hope someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong here.

Heh, looks like I've figured it out on my own.

Having another problem though. My game CTD's if I capture London and corrupts my save game.

Hi. How the hell did you do that?
I edited all patch files and main file too, nothing seems to work though. Life Guards limit is forever at 6. Help if you will!
