my engineer has vanished but the game thinks hes still there cause the trainee next to the map keeps telling me he wants to talk to me. this was all in 1 game without resetting tho so once i go back in now he might be there

Your Chief Engineer like some of the other characters too like to walk around sometimes ... if he is not where he usually is look in the crewquaters next to the observation room where Kaiden/Ashley are normally living if you recruited them...this is the Point i usually find him (talking to the Doctor).

Check at u Normandy maps. U will find it.

well he did appear when i went back in though members are still vanishing in cut scenes
