Both, but dislike the fact that they made it sound like Ash/Keidan was back for good, but then they are in the hospital for 2/3rds of the game. Seems silly. I LOVE Ash's look, she finally looks worthy of Shepard, I thought they could do no better than Miranda, but Miranda now looks like a pale ghost with a poof. Keidan I don't like, he's never been handsome IMO and the fact that there is NO change in him, is lame. (little strands of gray and a different haircut would have looked amazing.)
As far as their play styles, don't really care, I'm a kill stealer, and get angry if they kill enemies before I get a shot.
As far as uniform, Ash's looks amazing, its military and sexy at the same time, without looking like a total slut. *cough* Miranda*cough*
You can have a gay romance with Keidan this time around...

Well I have not used Ashley. Hmm that really sounds bad... But I saved Keidan, Why? Cause he is like a brother to me. I was quiet surprised when he came on to me. Although I was flattered. I did like the bit where he got injured and was in hospital, made me feel like we are not invincible universal soldiers. But also made me feel worried about him. I treated Keidan like family close family.

Ugh, I thought Ash looked fine in the first game. She's a Marine. I thought it was pretty obvious that she was the man in the dynamic between her and slightlylessmanly!Shep. Even before she takes a page from the Garrus book of "How to Act Like Shepard" school of thought she don't take no guff.

I have to admit I like the look of Ashley in ME1 than ME3. Even tho she is not my type. I feel she is better in ME1
In my first 3-4 plays in ME1 I always saved Kaiden. I felt Ash was about 1 step away from being a complete racists... speciesist.. whatever. However, I liked her backstory better so I kept her alive with my 2 favorite Shepards ( infiltrator and vanguard ). I don't know how Kaiden plays out in ME3. I'm going to pull up my soldier who's halfway done with ME2 with Kaiden alive, finish him out there and import him into 3 in a few days. I liked Kaiden in ME1 better ( saw almost no action after I got Liara though ) , but as Sky said... he didn't seem to really want to be there because he was so emo. Poor little me, I have super powers and headaches.
I oddly liked the emo feel in him as you put it. I still feel he is a good character. I understand Ashes back story, so I may leave her for my lesbo character yep you heard it bear is going to do the worst thing he hates play a woman.
