Especially this
"Building on their research, Exec Producer Casey Hudson and the team are hard at work on a number of game content initiatives that will help answer the questions, providing more clarity for those seeking further closure to their journey. You’ll hear more on this in April. We’re working hard to maintain the right balance between the artistic integrity of the original story while addressing the fan feedback we’ve received. This is in addition to our existing plan to continue providing new Mass Effect content and new full games, so rest assured that your journey in the Mass Effect universe can, and will, continue."
Beat me to it. I was just about to post this.
Hopefully this'll calm some people down, because it gives some definitive answers - namely that they are working on content, just not what that content is - and promises more news soon.
I did note, however, that he said we'd hear more about it in April, which is when the rumour about the true ending DLC was due for release/announcement. That might just be my own, long-dead optimism trying to creep through the cracks.
I'm sure Mr PR Guru will be around to pick it apart for everyone though.
EDIT: Kotaku's posted the story and their reaction to it, unfortunately their title for the article is "BioWare Is Working on a Modified Mass Effect 3 Ending". Nowhere in that (Ray's statement) article did I read that. I read that they're working on "giving some answers", not necessarily an ending.

Isn't this basically the same thing that Casey Hudson said? Only the doc being all artsy about it and talks about additional content which we already know is in the works.
Difference: It's a doc. TIIITLEEEES! *Takes meds before Skyheart swears at me*
I never ****ing swear!
And this statement is similar to Hudsons, yes, but it gives firm answers instead of giving generalised statements that there's a problem (well duh Casey).

As I start to read the information. I first see this line. "Our first instinct is to defend our work and point to the high ratings offered by critics – but out of respect to our fans, we need to accept the criticism and feedback with humility." Now I have to say OK to defending the product as thats natural for any company to do. But to point out what the critics say.... NO!!!! I never rely on critic's to make my mind up for me. I would not even go by what critics say about my work. Its you/us that are the ones they should be listening to!
As I read on there is another three lines that I came across "The journey you undertake in Mass Effect provokes an intense range of highly personal emotions in the player; even so, the passionate reaction of some of our most loyal players to the current endings in Mass Effect 3 is something that has genuinely surprised us. This is an issue we care about deeply, and we will respond to it in a fair and timely way. We’re already working hard to do that." I have to say yes there is a lot of emotions in the game from the play in connection to the characters as a few of us have stated in defining me3 moments thread--> Link I am amazed how they as in the company thought that the endings would be fine and that we the loyal fans that love the game and that have bought the games! (note those that pirated do not have a say. Sorry you do not!) I can understand the bittersweet statement, but from the one ending I had there where and are still questions that has not been answered and I to know thinking about am not a happy . So I hope this care deeply is true and not just a cover and do take there time in making this error right! If the they come out with something lame and short and not detailed then they have failed and have lied to the fans. There for deserve to by disbanded!
Again a few more lines in this article. "You’ll hear more on this in April. We’re working hard to maintain the right balance between the artistic integrity of the original story while addressing the fan feedback we’ve received. This is in addition to our existing plan to continue providing new Mass Effect content and new full games, so rest assured that your journey in the Mass Effect universe can, and will, continue." Now as fellow tag partner pointed out about the April part. Could all we have heard be true? Who knows. What a good place to put a rumor to make it feel like its bull 4chan. But anyway. They are working hard to maintain a balance. Its not a balance its closure, Art etc etc stay the same but finish the story properly for each character so we know what happened to them along with more transparency to Shepard. At this point am not caring about new full games although that excites me. I just want clarity.
OK more lines again. "The reaction to the release of Mass Effect 3 has been unprecedented. On one hand, some of our loyal fans are passionately expressing their displeasure about how their game concluded; we care about this feedback, and we’re planning to directly address it. However, most folks appear to agree that the game as a whole is exceptional, with more than 75 critics giving it a perfect review score and a review average in the mid-90s." Of course the reaction to the release was going to be god like! We waited our furry butts off for the game. Aye the game was and is exciting. But how it finished was not clear! Not good enough! Sorry you failed there. Now there critics again. Do not go buy the critics. The gamers are the ones to say if the game is great or not! Just because 75 people went its awesome dose not mean its great. Hell I have played games and seen movies that critics said was great and I was like. Um ok what mother is this. So again dump your critics for the real critics US THE GAMERS!!!!
As you can see I am very upset. I will be waiting patently for there update in April and hope for it to be good. Now I will read this other article that has been posted and respond as I see fit.

Now as I read Kotaku's take on this. I am automaticly brought to "BioWare Is Working on a Modified Mass Effect 3 Ending" No where in the first Article dose it say there making a Modified ending! It says "Exec Producer Casey Hudson and the team are hard at work on a number of game content initiatives that will help answer the questions, providing more clarity for those seeking further closure to their journey." Now to say there working on a Modified ending is speculating.
I read the rest there was slight adds and changes. But read the official one other than some one else's your take on the original is what matters. Offical one --->Link
Now wait till April!
