They did it on C&C4. They destroyed that ending EG. Destroying that franchise. Cause they wanted it gone done and out the of there road. I believe they have did the same with ME. EA have full control since there owned by them. Its like this if the owner of the company that owns your little business says right we want this out of the road done and done you end up doing it or lose what funds you get and everything else that you made with there Logo etc etc attached to it.

They destroyed DA. As well. But I aint going to touch that again! Am just waiting for Funamations Movie of Dragon Age to be done. Its coming along nicely.

Westwood Studios - the original owners of the C&C franchise - were completely and utterly bought and absorbed into EA, so they have more control over what goes on in the game itself. BioWare is a completely different entity, so is the Mass Effect franchise. Anyone who thinks ME3 will be the end of ME as a whole is deluding themselves to be honest.

Same goes for Dragon Age.

There's absolutely no proof in the Galaxy to support that accusation. I'm not saying I believe it happened with C&C, but like I said, C&C and ME are completely different entities, as are the studios behind them.

Besides, if EA wanted C&C over and done with, why have they given C&C 5 to BioWare? (is it 5? I've lost track).

I don't think EA had much to do with the story in this game or whether they told Bioware to end it. ME is a huge cash cow and there is no way they will end it. If Bioware didn't choose EA it would have been Atari, Microsoft, Ubisoft or Activision and those companies have their issues also.

I think the most EA would have done is pushed Bioware on the release date.

Well If my noggin remembers right that it was planned at the start when ME came out that is was going to be a trillogy only. So if they do something else It maybe an MMO and Milk the fans.

No no, from the start there was going to be a trilogy, but the end of the trilogy would be the end of Shepard's story, not the franchise.

Though the dialogue in the ending clip may hint at another Shepard story, either way there'll be another ME game.

It might seem that. But I wont hold anything till something comes out. Thats confirmed by EA or Bioware. I wont accept rumors from outside sites.

There aren't any rumours from any site, it's just speculation and opinion from fans like myself.

Kind of what you were doing with that you said about EA and their control over C&C/ME

But you're right on not getting hopes too high until there's an official statement.

Y'know... playing ME3 through a second time, I really want to slap Ash.
