I noticed when i start the trainer, and start doing other stuff, switching to other windows and such, before the trainer is done authenticating, it practically always crash.
Solution: run trainer as admin and let it complete the authentication BEFORE doing anything! do NOT switch windows or do any other stuff until it's finished, and it will run just fine.
Dunno if this has been posted elsewhere, but i do see alot of ppl complaining about a million things without trying to find a solution for themselves, OR READ !

Earlier toady I had the same problem you just described. I started the game and then started the trainer and this resulted in the trainer crashing.
The best to avoid a crash is to start the trainer and then after it is finished authnticating start the game and his should avoid any crashing by the trainer.
First off thanks much for all of the trainers folks! Sorry to hassle you but I'm having a problem with the retail DVD version of the trainer crashing the game. Running Trainer 1.1.5427.4 (DVD Retail), the trainer launches fine as does the game after launching the trainer (I am waiting for the trainer to authenticate and not doing anything else while it does). I can also activate the trainer sometimes, but it always crashes upon activating any option within the trainer. I have the N7 Collectors Edition Retail DVD, and I don't know if that is why.
I have tried the 1.1.5427.4 Origin retail version of the trainer and it doesn't crash the game, but it also doesn't appear to be doing anything. The trainer says it is activating, and the options say they are activating, but they aren't actually altering my game. Specifically the War Assets option. I'm at 7015 on my own and trying to get up to 10,000 so I don't have to fiddle with multiplayer to get the better endings. Activating the Massive War Assets option is not affecting my assets points though, even though it does say it is activating.
Is the N7 Collector's edition retail DVD possibly not compatible with either the DVD Retail trainer or the Origin retail trainer?
P.S. I've been using your trainers for years on many games so I'm very familiar with their use. This is the first time I've had this problem with any of your outstanding trainers.

The Origin Trainer will work with the N7 Collectors Edition DVD Retail as many of us have that. So unless you are modiying the game in some way or using a crack so you do not have to use origin. I am unsure how to help other than point you to the troubleshooter and also update the game if its not already done!
