IDK,i think EA/Bioware has something up their sleeves concerning new DLC/Alternate endings...
Just a feeling.
I still think there'd be too much money involved in making an alternate ending. Also, it'd be kinda awkward given how the end-game choice is set up. Three endings, three paths. No idea where they'd put a fourth. They'd also have to re-write that whole scene to add in the fourth option.
Unless, of course, they add the ending after that section, which would make it a whole lot simpler... like... "Oh, you chose this ending? Okay, let's go with th- BUT WAIT!" Deus Ex Machina anyone?
Here I go, shooting down my own theories again. I don't need anyone else to contradict me... I can do it well enough msyelf.
Its a funny DLC, since its already on the game.. All there is to do is change alittle on some .ini files and you have the DLC without paying for something thats already on the "disc".. Guides to do so is already out there.. Have fun
Already went through this in another topic, not to mention BioWare issued a statement on it. What is on the disc is framework to integrate the DLC seamlessly into the game. All DLC will include existing files which have been modified to include the new content. I quote the rest from my post.
"You may be able to "activate" Javik, and use him on missions, but he'll just be basically a shell. That's the framework I was talking about. The nearly 600MB extra you download when you buy/activate it is the mission and his "personality" so to speak.
Javik and his mission weren't designed after the game went Gold. That's how a lot of Day-One DLC is made, but the N7 edition has been advertised as having an extra character and mission since it was available for pre-order some time last year. So that'll be why some of the files are on the disc. Like I said - easier to leave some of it there if it's already made, and make the download smaller so people can get into it quicker."
Besides, this topic is about future DLC, not making complaints about Javik, for which there are a dozen other places to post in.
