    I played as a soldier on my first playthrough of ME2 and then Sentinel every other time. I'll carry on with my Sentinel through 3.

    I agree that Soldier is basically easy mode in any RPG. The fact that you can use the heaviest armor, the heaviest and most widely ranged weapons, etc etc.

    I'd say Sentinel is the best balance between Weapons, Tech and Biotics. Don't worry about how the tech armor looks. Worry about what it actually does.

    If you want a challenge, go for a class other than Soldier (no offence to all of those Soldiers in here )

    "Remember the good old days when you could just slap Omni-Gel on everything?" - Shepard, ME2

    "Not right now. Trying to determine how Scale Itch got aboard. Sexually transmitted disease carried only by Varren..... Implications unpleasant." - Mordin, ME2

    In my first ME1 I was a soldier, was fun, got to use all the weapons. I played that character for most of ME2 but never finished it as soldier. Vanguard was fun... real fun! But my favorite class is Infiltrator.

    My favorite Shep that carried through consistantly is
    ME1 = Infiltrator to Operative
    ME2 = Infiltrator to Assassin
    ME3 = Infiltrator and I just kept swapping my bonus powers around to try em all, kept going back to warp ammo though.

    I went with soilder on my first play-through.
    And,BTW,a A soilder does have accsess to biotic power,although limited.
    The replay value of ME3 is so high that you can experiment with different classes to see which one fits you best.

    If you are wanting to play right away and don't want to take the time to research and experiment,then i would go with the Vanguard class.It is basically a Soilder with full access to biotic powers.

    You said the Soldier gets limited Biotics? like what?

    All I need is Throw, or Pull or something, something to use when I'm out of ammo or when I want to push somebody off a cliff :P

    yeah i think a soldier can get 1 or 2 biotics but normally its via advance class skills.

    btw sent + warp ammo = unstopable force of nature in ME2. can nto wait to see how it goes in ME3.

    also if anyone has ever beaten insane mode as a vanguard legit mega kodos to you as i tried right up until i did shadow broker and got rolled by the spectre. after that i found my true calling as sentinal
