Okay I'm gonna speak from the heart here; so nobody be too offended... I will be the first to admit; you guys have tried W:EE - I mean, really really tried to keep up with the 2-3-4 a week patch schedule (honestly, I think their just trying to keep the trainer broken) and Focus is starting to become the worst dev team ever to make a great game; but whether anybody deserves a refund or not? Thats besides the point.
Trainers aren't as easy to find as they used to be; not good ones anyway - and I play a ton of games. I got a subscription for ONE reason. This trainer right here. Otherwise, I only like to use trainers when I feel like I need THAT much help. And if ONE single trainer works well, for one of my favourite games ever released, then I'll pay whatever I deem to be an appropriate fee.
Well I promise you theirs plenty of people who originally bought a subscription for ONE trainer. I'm one of them. And when the one trainer that person wanted doesn't work, then your paying customers have every right to complain. They certainly don't need to be chastised for not understanding the scope of your service.
I'm going to play a LOT of games this year. Not lifetime, YEAR. And you know what? I'd really only like help with one of them. You don't want to provide a pay per trainer subscription? Then fine, when one breaks, you're going to get people who are disappointed; because some of those people only want to play with THAT trainer. Refunds? Pwf I cant even get change for a 20 now a days, I think everybody can agree you cant just expect to be refunded for a service which is usually SPOT ON - but this attitude like "Oh, you bought our unlimited membership? Well, why'd you buy it if you didnt need it?"
Especially since the only two choices are 40 bucks; or something that wont work.
Frankly; it's not the trainer that aggravates me about this place sometimes - they didn't provide us with one working Wargames EE trainer. They provided like 15 working wargame trainers. But as long as cheat happens refuses to allow trainer by trainer subscriptions, I won't be re-newing my membership; Either you add some pricing tiers, or keep with with the patch schedule. Even if it is 3 times a week. That's your job.
If I found out that 6 out of 7 of my FY12 projects were suddenly due this Monday, I'm not going to tell the people who pay me, "Woah there, you obviously didnt understand what you got when you hired me. Too bad, I'm just going to wait until things die down before I get back to it"

...and with that, game is now officially RETIRED.
You're going to quickly find out what is and isn't "our job", like updating any one trainer indefinitely when people are posting coments like yours.
