Using the Coalesced.bin editor, go to biogame.ini/sfxgame/sfxgameconfig
and find the field 'levelrewards'
It's a list of how much exp you need for each level, and how many skill points you and your 'henchmen' get.
Edit the TalentReward= line for the next level you need, adding as many points as you want, and do the same for your team members using the HenchmanTalentReward= item.
Upon your next level up, you'll have a lot of points, and they should stick.
Note, it may work to edit the point levels for a lower level than you already have, thus increasing the limit of points when the game calculates if you've exceeded your points and preventing it from resetting the skills

and yes unlimited health doesnt make u invincible...it makes dying more difficult
I cannot thank you enough. That worked. I just increased the level 60 values to an obscene 300 and now the points stick when I load the game after saving or do a new mission the powers stick!
This is HUGE annoyance taken care of. I can go back to defeating the reapers now. This mod is great and this community rocks.
orginally, i had came in here to find out what going on with Shephard's skills point being resetted, and now i know. hope this can be solved.
If this has already been solved, a point to the page of this thread would be nice. Otherwise might be something to have a look at. I'm using windows 7 x64.

Turns out while the game updated after installing, it did not update to the current version, and I had to manually update again. Trainer is working fine now.
