When following the instructions in the pdf that comes with the trainer and launching the game from the alternative .exe in steam is it still possible to get steam achievements? When I enter the steam overlay I don't see any information about them and this makes me think that I can't get them? Has anyone gotten any achievements while launching the game this way?

Achievements are not guaranteed when you use trainers. It is best practice to not use trainers to earn achievements as some game companies do not tolerate this and will take action against the user (example would be Blizzard Entertainment and StarCraft II).

If it does not work, CHU will not update the trainer for that purpose. CHU also assumes no responsibility for any punishments the game developers may impose on you (which may include suspensions and bans) should they decide to. You use trainer for this purpose at your own risk.
