Anno 1404: Dawn of Discovery Message Board  

So I'm not sure why it is, but every other time I fire up Dawn of Discovery (North America versions, including fresh Steam install, 1.3 manual patch, and 1.07 unofficial patch) I'm unable to load my save games while on my online profile. The specific error in question: I click on the Load Game from the main menu, then click on the game I want to load, which leads to give me two messages:

"Waiting for other online transactions..."
"Downloading..."

And then it stops. The game remains unloaded and every time I make the attempt it repeats. This makes it impossible to work on achievements, since I have to keep making new online profiles. The question I have is two-fold: 1) is there a fix of some kind for this, and/or 2) does someone have an offline profile with all the bonus content unlocked that could be shared?
