You can find the missile and upgrade points rather easily with CoSMOS, but the address values change every mission. I tried to follow the cheathappens tutorial on locking down pointers, but the game crashed on me, so I stopped trying to. However, I did manage to find the upgrade points and and maxed it after the 1st mission. You will definitely need the upgrade points, since this game lacks lock on missiles. Which seems weird to me, since you can travel to very distant solar systems but you can't make a simple lock-on missile. This game is like one giant continuous horde mode, where enemy ships just keep on spawning and you just happen to be the only person, able to fly a damn fighter on your side for some strange reason. Although, I can live with all the shortcomings of this game since it only cost $10.

Every time I try to edit the upgrade points, they just switch back to original amount. If I try and lock it, it still switches back to original amount. Any ideas. Was it a 4 byte 8 byte or float?

You can lock missiles by pressing W(the missile buton) 2 or 3 seconds and the enemy must be in front of you.(sry for my bad english )

You can't lock the number since it changes with each round, it is best to change it at after the 1st battle. The upgrade points is a 4 byte, their may be 2 values, 1 to show the upgrade points amount and 1 that is the actual upgrade points value.
Thank you, I'll try it out next time I get a chance to play Sol Exodus, it is kind of hard to keep them in front of my max upgraded ship since it's only the 3rd mission and I'm way too upgraded for them to match their slower speeds, hehe.
