I'm on the Alduin's Wall quest. Before I can even start there is an Elder dragon that keeps showing up. My smithing is at 100% hoping that might help, sadly it didn't. Does anybody have any advice?

first what level are you i have killed all of the dragons (i think) and if you go to sky runner temple you can find a weapon of the blades called "Dragonbane", an enchanted sword that deals extra damage to dragons hope this helps.

to be fair ive battle many dragons but the blade that works for me is the ebony blade. I did not do this as a task just did this as a glitch to get the ebony blade but it is every effective. But ive never battled a elder dragon or what ever u said ive only battled like blood dragons and stuff but the ebony blade is a good weapon to get.
