Im looking forward to Liara, damn she is captivating. Hoping I can be of some use in the Science / exploration world after my degree in Astrobiology, maybe move to Tokyo and get a job as a Astro biologist, hope I get to see inter-galactic species in my life-time. At the rate we're heading in space exploration, I can already see the feasibility of this happening. Though the galaxy would not be based solely upon Mass Effect, we all have our theories but we won't know for sure until we find out ourselves. One thing I know is that we aren't alone in the intelligent species rating...
actually the odds of finding a intelligent race is high but with several key flaws.
intelligent life capable of communicating with us : 1.3%
intelligent life capable of existing in the same unique set of perimeters as a human: varies based on scientist generolly 5-25%
intelligent life with space faring abilities of the same IQ level who wont want to destroy us or deem us as little more than ants to study: 0.5%
odds of humans working together after meeting aliens as this essentially debunks all religions instantly and prooves evolution: approx 80%
odds of us going to war and trying to wipe out alien life even if peaceful in nature: with tpdays society? 98.967% propable according to NASA and political scientists.
long story short the discovery of another species on par with us would be awesome and is a game changer with out a doubt but the human race as a whole is still centuries off being ready for this type of discovery yet. heck we still exploit our own what happens when we add aliens to the mix?
Personally I don't care if they show her face or not. I think the key is that they do it (show her face or not) tastefully in regards to the plot and character.
Tali's romantic end at ME2 felt a little like they were taking the easy way out instead of giving us something substantial, and I'm hoping for better in ME3.
yeah but TBH in ME2 they were pushing miranda as love interest so strongly with a smut thing for goodies and jack for bad they did not expect ppl to want tali. they were also shocked for ppl like me who on my main stayed loyal to liara that the added dlc had added kiss to keep the relationship going.
liara is so cool with her love story though hope they don't ruin it with making her a tramp in 3

The script was changed after the leak. There was a tweet by one of the BW guys saying they had made a firm decision on the masking/unmasking, so who knows until we play it.
