my fav image of tali and most plausible i have seen is the one with her fully out of suit (yes it was a nude fan art) with grey/purple skin 3 fingers/toes per limb and a snake like smoth face simular to voldemort. it really showed that she is not human and all that time in a bio suit free on contaniments would mean pale sickly skin.
as for the hair debate on the net IDK i like girls with hair but tali is both an alien and alergic to almost everything including other members of her race. this kinda makes me feel hair would jam in the suit and cause issues more logical to be no hair
Unfortunately, that is invalidated for the simple fact that you can frequently see a nose through the mask.
For some reason, when I see Quarians, I think of tail-less Draenei... With "claws" instead of hooves.

That is very true that you can see some facial features through the mask (eye shape and nose).
Though by playing through ME2 i got reminded of something by Grunt...
Humans, Asari, Salarian, all squishy... "Quarians not so much"... Turians, you have to work the blade.
So it could be a human like face in terms of bone structure, like the Asari have as well, but with skin resembling a bit more scaly like (but perhaps not as severe as) Turians.

They talking about, that they have the same DNA structure, and can eat same things.
