I've had no problems so far with steam automatically installing the updates/patches. No dragons flying backwards etc.

Although, my game does crash unexpectedly. And this has been happening prior to the patches. Was hoping the latest patch would fix this issue. Thank god I save a lot :P

The only bug I've definitely run into has been the missing resistances. They'll patch the patch, hopefully quickly. At least they indicated as much on the message they left on the official boards yesterday.

Also, for those not being able to start the game at all post patch, be sure to have all mods disabled before you launch the game. Some of them, notably Val's Crafting Meltdown, are making a reference to Draugr arrows, and it's causing the game for whatever reason to not finish loading to the menu screen.

I've also been hearing from some that these bugs don't seem to show up if you start a completely new character. Not sure about that though as I haven't tried it myself.

Saw my first backwards flying dragon today. It was actually pretty epic. I was laughing even as I became a human BBQ. As far as bugs go, it's up there with dead wedding guests.

As for the magic resistances I haven't noticed them personally. I mean... we're on a site dedicated to the art of cheating. I think that says everything that needs to be said.

Even with the 1.2 patch, I still kicked back to the desktop occasionally with or without trainer.

Hope to see a better and reliable patch.

Found my first "game breaking" bug today since patch 1.2.

Patch notes said "Fixed rare issue with renaming enchanted weapons and armor" ... there was no explanation of what the rare bug was before

I was putting an enchant on my pickaxe and went to rename it. I was able to backspace over the name Pickaxe, but wasn't able to type anything. Clicking with mouse anywhere on screen would just revert back to 'pick the enchant' section. After about 3 minutes I decided to give up renaming my pickaxe into "Scary Pick of Burning" (fear/fire enchants) and tried to just Tab out. I was stuck. It wouldn't let me leave the enchanting screen at all. It would let me disenchant, but it wouldn't let me enchant anything much less rename anything.
I was at the enchanting table inside High Rock dungeon with that woman looking for her heritage scroll following me around.

By "Game Breaking" I mean, I had to just cntrl+alt+del and close the game (F4 didn't work for some reason either). And now I'll have to just go back to last save 1 room before the arcane enchanter.

I still haven't seen any of the funny bugs like backward flying dragons

Before the patch I had to mess with vertical mouse sensitivity a little by adding some lines into the ini files so my horizontal and vertical were about the same. After the patch and installing on a new computer (same mouse and mouse software) I had to set my vertical more than twice my horizontal just to be able to look around. Before this change I could look left/right with ease, but I had to put the mouse at the top of the mouse pad, pull down, pick up the mouse, put it at the top of the pad, pull down (repeat) at least 7 times just to look at the ground to loot the armor off of the Imperial in the first scene. (cheap logitech corded optical 7 months old).

Right still no Flying backwards dragons yet, Keep trying to record what am seeing but something is messing up with my fraps :s Altho I have had two CTD's Havent tested the resistance thing yet. Its on my list Might have to use Xfire to record then. Al give it a go.

Well, I got my first backwards flying dragon, and it's for a bounty quest in Windhelm, and it's unkillable. Got this dragon about 4 hours after I posted I hadn't seen any either... jinxed myself

I can't complete the bounty quest for it so I can't pick up anymore bounties in Windhelm area either.

The effects of the dragon are very erratic. It doesn't always fly backwards, mostly forward, but at extreme speed. If I start to chase it, the dragon clearly is running away from me. Followed it once half way to Riften while killing two more dragons on the way there. It won't let me close to it at all. I have shot it from a distance as it just hovers and took it down to zero health and it still just flaps in the air hovering, will not die. When I do get close to it my game starts to stutter badly. It does attack Once on first encounter then flies up and this behavior takes over. Waited a game-week doing other things and came back to it. I shot it, it hit me with frosty breath and flew up then started this erratic flying again.

To be perfectly honest you Don't need the trainer. just use the 'Console' you can do alot more with it. and including all the cheats the trainer provides Can do them using the console. so 1.2 is just fine
And to clarify.. the Desktop Crashes have been around since day1 of Skyrim. Something Steam are not going to fix. so just keep 'Quicksaving'
