Lockpick pro mod is a MUST HAVE if u are tired of broken lockpicks

there is a perk (lockpick master I think but not sure) that when you get it the lockpicks no longer break...

and you can always never finish the thieves guild quest line and keep the skeleton key forever...

all the mod does is show you the exact location of the "sweetspot" of any lock.. and if u dont finish thieves questline you dont get the awesome bow or a rather nice (spell/perk)
as for the perk u are talking about "Unbreakable" all it takes is 1001 lockpicking lol which is harder than a mother .... to get unless you cheat ...
anywho all i am saying is if you are tired of broken picks or looking for the dang lock spot .. this is something you should cosider (just trying to be helpfull)

If you use the trainer to get lockpicks you can just set the thumbstick on the controller to the left or right and let them just keep breaking. Walk away from the game and come back a little later and you should have advanced you're skill. I think the harder the lock the more exp. you get even with failed attempts. This is pretty much the same lockpicking system from Fallout so lockpicking on Skyrim came pretty easy to me. The picks just seem to break a lot easier though.

I have mastered the lock picking easy in this game just like in Fallout 3 n Fallout NV. Only lost a few lock picks.
