I finally get DA2 and come to get the trainer (1.3.6124.0). Now everything goes fine for about a week, then the trainer just disappears from my computer. No big deal, I just extract the archive again. So, I'm watching the extraction and the trainer .exe is un-archived into the proper folder then it just deletes itself. Ok, maybe my download is borked. I get a fresh DL of the trainer, watch the extraction and yet AGAIN the .exe just deletes itself almost immediately after extraction.

After a bit of snooping around, I discover that my anti-virus keeps locking it in quarantine. Showing that it is infected with this little bugger: Win32:Malware-gen. None of the other trainers I use have been quarantined, so I'm reasonably comfortable with using trainers from here.

Now before I pull this thing out of quarantine and continue its use, is this a false positive?

yes it is a false positive. no CH trainer has a virus in it. None. pls add the trainer .exe to anti-virus Exclusions List if u haven't already.
