Is it just for me, or are the shadows in Skyrim very blocky and pixelated? I am running the game on Steam, with a new rig and the graphics cranked up to ultra, even down stepping the graphics yields nothing better.
Anyone else have this issue?

Yes, occasionly, not all the time it seems.. Im running twin GTX580s, watercooled.. No other issues in the game at all apart from the occasional blocky lag

Open SkyrimPrefs.ini in 'My Documents','My Games','Skyrim' and set iShadowMapResolution=4096 worked for me, but it uses more of your graphics memory. If you have GTX 580 it wouldn't be a problem.

I'd like to turn them off completely, they just annoy me. Especially the "real time" shadows.
