Since EA has recentrly launched Origin, they said that they don't want to give the competition their games. They are trying to compete with steam so they will, from now on, use origin for all future games.

Steam and EA recently had an argument about steams dlc policies, steam wants it so all DLC's have to, in some way, be bought though them and not through a in-game menu system that EA had going. I believe that and Origin caused them to pull Crysis 2, Dragon Age 2 which were both at one point on steam.

Not true, Valve wanted a hefty percentage per sale.

Any sane company would have told them where to shove that suggestion :P

I have a whopping one game on origin, and a mass effect 1 DLC which i dont touch origin to play.. Origin has no chance of competing with steam... EA are idiots.
