Battlefield 3 Message Board  

Is anyone have difficulties installing this game? I shut off all virus protections. I put the DVD in the drive. The disc spins and that's all. There isn't even a pop-up window.

Did you try to run it manually? My Computer > right click on DVD > Open > setup?

Yes. I also right click the drive it was in and manually clicked run auto play. And i hit Start,Run, D\Autorun.exe Nothing works.

I don't know. Wait for a day or two. If no one else responds just go back to the store and tell them to replace your game.

remove the "TM" symbol from the "Battlefield 3 TM" folder name

then it works

There isn't a folder name. The game doesn't install at all. It just runs in the DVD ROM for 20 seconds then stops.

why not use the serial and input it on steam so you can download it there without the stupid cd.

A. That only works on a few select non steam games other wise its for games that are steam protected like dow2.

B. EA hates steam. now if only they would dump origin as a requirtment. Steam is bad, so why make a new steam?

C. why would you want bf3 on steam?
