My antivirus is blocking it, I am not using the trainers, so i recommend you to use its cheats.

Thanks. Already have the trainer from cheatscapes for Sims 3 Pets but the life time rewards only affects the pets and not the sim as well. Current Sims 3 patch at 1.26.89. Hope to find one that works for both sims and pets.

You guys should have contacted me and told me about it. I think the contact is given on CS page or also on the site linked to from CS author page.
Anyway, i tried to replicate the issue you have and i think i kind of got the same bug.
The trainer works for both sims and pets lifetime rewards but it happens when you activate all the options, i could only buy teleporter and food recipe and other items would appear to be purchased but won't actually show in inventory.
The fix is simple, enable the rewards option to make the rewards go into millions then disable all cheats. Now you can buy stuff with it and as they run out, enable the option again. I could see the reward points go into 10000+ when activating the option and purchasing things won't work when other cheats activated, so i am not sure if you also have the exact same problem or is it that your reward points don't get effected at all ?.
Let me know if it helps.
PS: I don't visit this place often so you're kind of lucky that i saw this thread. No one has ever complained about the trainer btw, my 2 testers had it working fine as well, not to mention a couple of other customers who purchased it. Also, note that bringing the thread here was pretty much useless since the trainer is NOT cheathappens work and they can't assist you. Their sister site cheatscapes is just a marketplace for different authors and so the respective author whose trainer is in question should be contacted.
PS2: forgot to mention it has been tested for sims 3 pets only and on the worldwide release. You can check out which version you have if you don't already by opening skuversion.txt file in sims 3 directory and noticing the value on first line from right. e.g i have this GameVersion = 1.26.89.013002 Since it reads 2, i have the worldwide release (UK/EUR), if it is 1, it should be US cd/dvd release and for digital download, it would read 17.
I am not sure how this affects the game though and if there are any changes in the exe but if the above solution doesn't help, send me your game exe and i'll have a look.

Thanks. My reply was to an earlier post and I thought to mention it as I wasn't sure of that bug as I haven't been to the cheatscapes message board yet.

You don't need a trainer for lifetime rewards for pets or sims.
I'm glad Pwizard closed the trainers for the sims3 as it's too much hassle for no reward for him or the developers, while all the things everyone wants are already available to all of you. I've made a thread explaining what i've seen on youtube and tested myself.
