Today the long awaited Patch 6 is out. But please wait before making a new trainer. Since SONY didn't see a critical bug the game has to be patched again (and will: forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2636854).
Edit: Is it possible to make an option to get more special tools?

The hotfix is out. The game should be considered as patched for some time now.

Just tried the new trainer with the patched game. As soon as I press F1 to activate the trainer it crashes the game... Playing the original steam retail version. Previous versions worked flawlessly, please fix the trainer!

Tell the ****ing game devs to stop pushing out a new hotfix every 20 minutes. It's already patched 3 times since yesterday and AGAIN about 10 mins after we released the trainer.

updated the trainer AGAIN. if game patches again within 24 hours, it's going on the retired list for the next month.

Well, I got the update and the hotfix later yesterday (as posted) and I think that was all. At least I hope it's all. Still, I get your point and I wouldn't really mind if you'd let this game to "cool off" for a while.
But still, the trainer works great! Thanks for your hard work and putting up with those insane fixes.

Patch 7 released 5/15/12 . Trainer no longer working .. DLC to be released in the near future.
