it seems that alot of people are having the same issue with CTD's....you can go to TWcenter..or steam and find the posts, the infamous "CA" CTD is back for now until CA or STEAM can fix the problem...its not happening to everyone but most...from what ive read any way...

Yet again CA manages to **** everyone off by rushing releases. I thought EA had that one down pat, guess CA has taken a page from EA's SOP!

It was totally rushed and unfinished. It wasn't until later that they added DX11 support, a 64-bit executable, and AA support. It kinda seems like a slap-dab cobbled together program. Small wonder they are having so many problems. Pages and pages of bugs are listed on the TWC and official forums each. BSOD, CTD issues, memory problems, lag/fps issues, the game hanging at the end of a campaign turn...the list goes on and on. A lot of people eventually get the game to run, at least for a while until some later patch messes things up again. In short, another typical Total War game.
