Sniper: Ghost Warrior Message Board  

I've had some lagging issues with this game but it's most likely not due to my specs (se below). Besides it just sort of halts momentarily for a sec, then it runs fine again for another minute/30s or so. And it does so no matter what resolution or settings I have (It doesn't get worse with higher settings)!

So I've tried the usual; quiet mode on Norton, disable background apps, latest video/sound drivers and I'm currently looking for some newer patches (I'm running v1.0.0.0) to se if that'll help! I've also tried different sound cards as this type of lagging usually points to that but so far no difference.

Anyway, is this just me or is it some known bug with some cards or something?

My Specs:

Pentium i5 Quad @2.66 GHz
ASUS GTS450 Direct CU
4 GB RAM (don't know speed)
OS Win XP SP3

Internal sound card: VIA HD 80xx something!
External sound card: MAUDIO Audiophile USB
