    some reason when i try destroyin a planet with the deathstar my game crashes its the same with FOC and it seems to happen when there is any explostion on the tactical map iv looked around to solve the problem and no luck so im hopein you guys can help me fix this little problem (yes EAW is at 1.05 and has the fix and yes FOC is at 1.1)

    Not sure if you got sorted, just a random read on this post. A few things to check would be:

    > Update graphics, sound and maybe even chipset drivers (could be some strange, rare occurence when a certain effect is rendered)
    > Also (to add to the above), check your DirectX runtime is up-to-date
    > Check and remove/disable any mods or maybe try re-installing the game a fresh to eliminate any conflicts or corrupt files
    > Are you using any other non-standard files, eg. no-disc fixes to launch the game etc? These may be a cause

    Other than those more obvious ones, it could just be that there's a bug in the game. I'd suspect this is unlikely as it's received the attention of the developers with various patches over the time it's been out, but it always remains a possibility.

    my video card is up to date and im running direct x 11 and i dont play galactic conquest with any mods thinkin its a big or my video card might be to high end for the explostion of a planet
