I hate to be a noob here but can someone help me out? I want to do some basic editing with the skills. Say I have this skill line;

< tier_req tier="3" cat="Tree2" value="1"/ >
< effect id="CutCriticalChance" change="0.04"/ >
Lets say I want the critical chance from this to make it be say 50%. What line am I going to change and what would I be changing? If it has 3 levels do I need change different lines to affect those levels of skill too or what? It's mainly the multiple levels for the skill that confuse me with what to change.
Depending on if youve skilled it fully. If you have skill 1, put it to 0.5, if you have skill 2, 0.25, and skill 3, well thats tricky 0.166 or better go with 0.17
Some skills have set amouts for each lvl, some have a set amount for all the lvls.
I've been modifying the shop.scr file forever.. I got it to show more orange/blues/violet then normal.. but for some reason I can't force it to give it me more than 5 items in the miscellaneous section. In fact I can't remove that limit, I have yet to find the file that modifies the total amount of items the npc can sell.
Well, I've been trying to mod the shops as well without much luck...It never shows more then 3 weapons now, so I changed it back. What governs how many items the shop has I don't know, but if someone finds it, it would make the world of difference for modding shops. I'm also curious as to weather or not you can add things like blueprints into the shop and just buy them, instead of scouring the world for them.
