Oh so it's not just me then. Yeah the options work for a short time, maybe 2 minutes or so, then it's deactivated. I reactivate it, works for a bit, then game crashes to desktop.
its because this game has an inordinate amount of scanners and anti cheat built into it. be glad there is a trainer at all for it. we had retired it in the past.

Can't you use the stealthedit technique used by CoSMOS? It basically copies the protected regions and points the game towards the copies, thereby fooling the scanners. More details here:

This sort of hack was also used for Crysis 3.
we don't release versions of our trainers using 3rd party tools. secondly, our trainer works as is.
