Empire: Total War Message Board  

If I launch the trainer by itself and press F1, I hear the voice say "Trainer can not find game" but if I launch the game and press F1, nothing happens. The strange thing is, the trainer was working earlier in the day for me, but when I came back to Play Empire, this problem came up. I've re-downloaded the trainer and each time I added it to my exclusions list on Kaspersky. I've even tried putting it in a different folder. I'm at a complete loss now. I was wondering if anyone had any idea what has happened or what I can/should do. Thank you in advance and thank you for all the hard work you guys do.

Make sure its for the correct version of the game, Empire: TW has gone through some reselling the last few years, and the trainer was obviously designed for the inital release, but with luck it should hopefully work with other releases by other publishers.

As said make sure the version number of the game matches the version number on the trainer. Run the trainer in administrator mode. And make sure no programs block it.

Is the trainer not activating or is it just not saying that it is activated? I have had occasions when the trainer voice was disabled, but all the trainer functions worked normally. Seems to be a random error that comes and goes mysteriously.

Other than that, check the troubleshooting guide and make sure the game didn't update between plays.

I just gave up. The game doesn't even open now. Tried to restore but same problem. :\ Thank you for the help however. I appreciate it.

And no, it just doesn't work. If I press f1 the trainer does not activate and none of the buttons work. It's not a big deal. I'm thinking about finding someone who can send me the games files. I think I messed up when I was trying to uninstall a mod that I had in there and that's why the game just won't even start.

i had same problem

i just turned off my Comodo internet security and it works fine

this comodo is crazy ****, sometimes it blocks some programs (trainers) with no reason or/and w/o any warning that's why i got rid of him and installed only comodo firewall...

Defense+ doesn't play nice with trainers at all. It barely even works with most games that use anti-cheating technology for online gaming.
