Well the versions match up.

Just seems your retail version isn't liked by the trainer.

But do make sure you run it in Administrator mode, make sure nothing is blocking the trainer like an AV scanner etc.

Oh and Don't forget some tuts on ASM and defeating DMA

same issue as valleyczar.. having the v1.08 retail in steam and the file version is 1.8.282.. the trainer doesnt work..

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I honestly refuse to believe that a membership I paid nearly $100 is not good enough to receive a functional F.E.A.R trainer.

The trainer claims to be on, it claims to have the cheats activated, nothing happens in game.

I read something about the product version being 1.08 in another thread, my F.E.A.R.exe says the same thing. Yet it doesn't work.

I hope someone fixes this.

This game is retired as is clearly marked on the trainer page for YEARS.
