ive played like 20mins of this game and i found it hard to get into in fact i shut it down and ended up playing bulletstorm just for the crude violent content just to make me feel better i mean i know 2k plan realase crap then bring out better stuff and make even more money its so apparent thats there plan it almost hurts.

if you don't care for this game than perhaps you should sell it, or exchange it if possible, for one you do.

Also, I forgot to mention that this game has terrible lighting effects. I remember in "The Hive" level where you can't see anything as it is completely black. And with your shades you literally get nothing but light blue stripes when you move.

yeah, the duke vision could use some work, still, to reiterate, "this is still a great game despite its flaws."

i should prob say duke vision was not ment to be night vision per say but from what i can see 3d vision. look closely and you can make out a red blue tinge on everyhing. kinda sucks tbh but meh i played game thorugh without it was a good game but fights are easy and puzzles can be annoying to work out

After all the hype, the game is a major dissapointment. I ended up switching to Bulletstorm after about half an hour of Duke. The graphics are terrible, the gameplay sucks, VERY VERY linear (if you can figure out what the hell to do). Very bad thought out puzzles. You can only carry two guns and even on easy level, ammo is scarce. What's wrong with having 3 or 4 guns available???? The game is meant to be a fun blaster, so why cut off it's legs there?

But again, the biggest let down is the graphics. Looks like the game was released shortly after half life.... the first half life that is.

I LOVE IT!!! been waiting far too long for it...

it depends on how you judge it.. if you judge it purely as a Duke Nukem game it rocks, it ticks all the right boxes:
1: Topless Birds...
2: One Liners...
3: Aliens by the bucketload...
4: DUKE!

granted by todays games the graphics arent the best in the world, but who cares its mega fun
