I got the full game today. While the game feels dated and lacking in innovation I still think that overall it is a good game. What are your thoughts?

this is a wonderful omage to the games of old, before we bacame accustomed to things like HD graphics, plot and character development and realistic physics in games, it's not going to win any awards compared to COD or Mass Effect, but if you enjoyed games like that back then or the original duke nukem, you're gonna love this.

We didn't want an omage...we wanted a Duke Nukem Kick ass HD, rip your guts out, foul mouthed experience (we waited long enough).....instead we got a mildly entertaining, awefully drawn, pathetic attempt at gaming. It's 2011....if you want to have a trip down memory lane, play Duke 3D or dust off your Wolfenstein return to castle W...which I might add I'd prefer playing now than DNF. Every other title out there evolved. Duke stayed behind.

I STILL haven't played it since I last commented 3 weeks ago.... it sucks that bad. Really. I haven't even tried... Don't listen to these die hard fans...they're only saying it because they have to justify to themselves why they wasted that much money on such a bad game. I'd rather suffer through Iron Man 2 again than having to attempt to force myself to insert the disc and give Duke another go.

Try to look at the game objectively, for once, and the light will go on for you too. It really is a bad game. I have yet to talk to one person I know who've played it, that will say they liked it. No one likes it. I don't care how big a fan you are...deep down inside you are dissapointed, if not more, BECAUSE of the fact, that you're a huge fan. C'mon, try it, be honest with yourself... it sucks.

The game is fun, and i am not a duke series fan, i haven't played any of earlier duke games either. But its not that bad like some of the people are calling it.

I enjoyed it, maybe cause when i play i don't have much expectation and just play the game to see what its like.

i haven't played it yet, just got it installed today, but I've watched all the walkthroughs and from what i've seen, i have to say, this is the best game i've seen since duke nukem 3d
